Bourne newlywed wins £2,500 Bridgestone Competition

Anna Grainger, a newlywed from Bourne has won the £2,500 prize in the Take a Break competition held by Bush Tyres and Bridgestone Tyres. The competition which ran throughout all of the Bush Tyre depots allowed the public to enter after simply buying a set of Bridgestone tyres.

Anna found out that she had won the competition a day before her wedding and was so excited about the prospects of an unexpected exotic honeymoon, the big news almost overshadowed the big day itself! I am delighted to have won she said, “It is an incredible prize and I’m absolutely thrilled. We agreed we couldn’t afford anywhere too expensive, so to win this competition is like the best wedding present imaginable.”

Due to the impressive uptake in the competition and all the positive feedback, Bush Tyres will definitely be working alongside Bridgestone on more competitions like this in the future.

Wheel Balancing on a Perfect Peugeot 205

This Peugeot 205 automatic visited our Boston Branch recently for Wheel Balancing. These centre-less “Pepperpot” style wheels can only be balanced on a balancing machine using a plate adapter. The adapter is needed as the wheels are unusual as they have no hole in the centre.

Landrover chose CrossContact 2024 tyres for new Defender

Land Rover chose the Continental CrossContact RX tyres to be fitted to the Defender at their production facility. Allround Tyres in Rotherham when required by the owner, fitted the same CrossContact tyres which the Defender was originally designed to run on. Therefore continuing the OE status of the tyres.
