Some nice cars were spotted out in the sun today at our Horncastle depot. A Bentley Flying Spur with wheel refurb, swaps its winter to summer tyres on 27535R20 P Zero Rosso B’s. And an Audi R8 V10 with 23535ZR19 P Zero X1 R01’s and 29530R19 P Zero XL R01’s.
This Peugeot 205 automatic visited our Boston Branch recently for Wheel Balancing. These centre-less “Pepperpot” style wheels can only be balanced on a balancing machine using a plate adapter. The adapter is needed as the wheels are unusual as they have no hole in the centre.
Land Rover chose the Continental CrossContact RX tyres to be fitted to the Defender at their production facility. Allround Tyres in Rotherham when required by the owner, fitted the same CrossContact tyres which the Defender was originally designed to run on. Therefore continuing the OE status of the tyres.
