Heat Affects Your Vehicles Battery Life
Article written by Bush Tyres
Most people think about their car battery in the winter, but warm temperatures are actually your battery’s worst enemy.
Hot weather means high temperatures under the bonnet of your car, which accelerates corrosion inside the battery.
Heat can also cause water to evaporate out of the battery’s liquid electrolyte.
The results are clear: Decreased battery capacity, a weakened ability to start the engine and, ultimately, shorter battery life.
