A two-in-one tyre with a central tread system for road transport named Evobib was Michelin’s innovation. At the recommended pressure on the road, only the central portion of the tread pattern is in contact with the ground. This portion is specifically designed with low rolling resistance to provide the performance of a radial tyre, reducing vibration for driving comfort. The pressure can be reduced to as low as 0.6 bar for work in the field. At these reduced pressures, the outside tread lugs are allowed to expand to provide traction.
