A recent study from Continental shows just how important winter tyres are this holiday season.

Winter tyres provide unparalleled grip when both moving off and breaking as well as precise lateral guidance when cornering and are second to none during the cold winter months.

Continental’s ContiWintercontact TS 850’s have in tests performed more than 33% better than non winter tyres of which the worse only stopped after a whopping 52.7 metres (57.6 yards) a distance that could even prove fatal in these icy conditions.

Wheel Balancing on a Perfect Peugeot 205

This Peugeot 205 automatic visited our Boston Branch recently for Wheel Balancing. These centre-less “Pepperpot” style wheels can only be balanced on a balancing machine using a plate adapter. The adapter is needed as the wheels are unusual as they have no hole in the centre.
