Article written by Bush TyresBush Tyres have supplied OE2 wheel and tyre units for this self-propelled sprayer heading for an exhibition in Europe. These specialist high clearance wheel units are for operating in crops such as maze and sunflowers.
The wheels fitted were W12X46 PFD and the tyre specification was 380/90R46 Mitas AC85.
The Toyota 4×4, also pictured, was fitted with 4 26565R17 Bridgestone HT D840 Tyres.

This Peugeot 205 automatic visited our Boston Branch recently for Wheel Balancing. These centre-less “Pepperpot” style wheels can only be balanced on a balancing machine using a plate adapter. The adapter is needed as the wheels are unusual as they have no hole in the centre.
Land Rover chose the Continental CrossContact RX tyres to be fitted to the Defender at their production facility. Allround Tyres in Rotherham when required by the owner, fitted the same CrossContact tyres which the Defender was originally designed to run on. Therefore continuing the OE status of the tyres.
