RHD Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M
This rare and spectacular RHD Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M visited our ZR Tyres depot in Lincoln; for an alignment, which required the removal of the carbon rear diffuser.
The Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M was built to celebrate Ferrari’s victory in the 2008 Formula One World Championship and as a reminder of this the car has a special plaque on its rear grille commemorating their 16th Constructor’s World title. Production was limited to just 499, which is underscored by the silver “Limited Series” plaque just above the air vents on the centre of the dashboard.
The 430 Scuderia 16M is based on the F430 Spider and saves 80kg of weight over its predecessor. This is due to the use of lightweight body trim materials, the stripping of excess interior weight and a carbon-trimmed roll bar that emphasises the 16M racing pedigree. It has a dry weight of 1340kg and this; combined with the 510 bhp provided by its V8 engine and power-to-weight ratio of 2.6kg/hp, means it achieves 0-60 in a blistering 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 195mph.
