Continental wins Auto Express and Evo tyre test!

Continental has come out on top on both Auto Express Magazine’s 2013 Ultimate Tyre Test, and Evo Magazine‘s 2013 Winter Tyre Test. The new ContiSportContact 5 was tested on all levels by Auto Express, including dry braking and handling, wet braking, straight aqua, and curved aqua – receiving over 90% on each category, and an overall rating of 100%.

The key to the SportContact’s success was the braking tests, and in wet conditions, the tyre’s braking performance was much better than any of its competitors. Evo Magazine carried out a similar test on Continental’s WinterContact TS 850. The tyre claimed victory for it’s braking abilities in both snowy and wet road conditions, scoring 100% for both.
