Article written by Bush Tyres

Our Long Sutton team fitted four new tyres to this Foden Wrecker recently.

The Foden recovery vehicle was designed to support a fleet of vehicles and can recover damaged, stuck or overturned vehicles.

This Foden Wrecker, originally used by the Army, was acquired by Tears Recovery of Sutton Bridge. It has been used in the recovery of tanks (LVT-4 Amphibious Vehicles) which were buried in the 1947 Crowland flood event and recovered last year, you can watch it in action below:

The team at Bush Tyres in Long Sutton fitted four of the customers own 1600×20 Michelin tyres to the rear of the vehicle, these were locking ring type wheels with sealing rings.
