Pirelli P Zero (MC) NCS tyres fitted.
Tyre sizes are, front: 225/35R19 88Y & rear: 285/35R20 104Y.
Pirelli developed these tyres with McLaren for the 570S, 570S Spider, 540C & 570GT.
They custom-stitchedthe tyres to improve the sporting performance and increase the thrill of everydaydriving.
The asymmetrical structure of the tyre (inner and outer shoulder of different heights) is designed to work in synergy with the cars dynamic camber system offering different suspension calibrations for race, standard and sport use.
Pirelli reduce cabin noise for greater acoustic comfort by the use of Pirelli Noise Cancelling System (PNCS) technology.
Pirelli used aramid fibres, which are heat restistant & stong, to stabilise the tyre structure at high speeds.
This Peugeot 205 automatic visited our Boston Branch recently for Wheel Balancing. These centre-less “Pepperpot” style wheels can only be balanced on a balancing machine using a plate adapter. The adapter is needed as the wheels are unusual as they have no hole in the centre.
Land Rover chose the Continental CrossContact RX tyres to be fitted to the Defender at their production facility. Allround Tyres in Rotherham when required by the owner, fitted the same CrossContact tyres which the Defender was originally designed to run on. Therefore continuing the OE status of the tyres.
