Summer is on its way and the classic cars are coming out in force. 

Our Scunthorpe centre recently had the pleasure of working on these three wonderful classic cars from the 1970’s, 80’s & 90’s.

Our technicians also adjusted the wheel alignment as required to make sure the car drives as it was designed too while eliminating adverse, uneven, tyre wear.

Wheel Balancing on a Perfect Peugeot 205

This Peugeot 205 automatic visited our Boston Branch recently for Wheel Balancing. These centre-less “Pepperpot” style wheels can only be balanced on a balancing machine using a plate adapter. The adapter is needed as the wheels are unusual as they have no hole in the centre.

Landrover chose CrossContact 2024 tyres for new Defender

Land Rover chose the Continental CrossContact RX tyres to be fitted to the Defender at their production facility. Allround Tyres in Rotherham when required by the owner, fitted the same CrossContact tyres which the Defender was originally designed to run on. Therefore continuing the OE status of the tyres.
