We are very excited to announce that Ascenso Tyres UK will be sponsoring World Champion Clay Pigeon Shooter, Kallum Burrell.
At only 18 years old, Kallum is already making a name for himself in the Clay Pigeon shooting world having won as ‘High Gun’ at the 2021 Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) World Sportrap Championships, winning both the senior and junior title and becoming a double World Champion.

The competition consisted of 100 targets shot in 4 layouts of 25. On each of these Kallum scored 23,25,25,25. This meant that he finished on a final score of 98/100 placing him as overall winner or ‘High Gun’, ahead of several of the worlds ‘top shots’ such as George Digweed who himself is a multi-world and European clay shooting champion.
In continuation of his success, Kallum was recently selected for the England Sporting Team for the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) World Sporting Championships 2022 which will take place at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas next April.
The partnership between Ascenso Tyres UK and Kallum will commence with immediate effect, supporting Kallum through his winter training and into the new season in April, throughout 2022 and beyond.

This Peugeot 205 automatic visited our Boston Branch recently for Wheel Balancing. These centre-less “Pepperpot” style wheels can only be balanced on a balancing machine using a plate adapter. The adapter is needed as the wheels are unusual as they have no hole in the centre.

Allround Tyres in Rotherham when required by the owner, fitted the same CrossContact tyres which the Defender was originally designed to run on. Therefore continuing the OE status of the tyres.
