Our newly extended Boston branch had the pleasure of working on this striking lava orange Porsche 911 991 GT3 RS recently, the team fitted a full set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 N0 tyres, 265/35ZR20 to the front and 325/30ZR21 to the rear.
They also carried out a wheel refurbishment as well as fitting black wheel weights to balance the wheels. The car also had the centre lock wheel torque done with the correct wind back.
At Bush we offer an alloy wheel refurbishment service which can remove
scuffs, scratches, dents, and corrosion as well as powder coating in a
wide range of colours and finishes to make them as good as, if not
better, than new.
As with all high-performance cars, it is not only the engine that creates high performance of your Porsche. The tyres play an essential role too as they are the only part of the car in direct contact with the road. To ensure that the correct tyres are chosen, Porsche tyres have a symbol on the sidewall of the tyre called the ‘N' rating to differentiate them from other specifications of the same tyre size or pattern. The first version of a new model will be noted as N0, if an update to the model is brought in, it may be that a modified version of tyre is also brought in, this would be noted as N1 with later version being N2, N3 and so on.
