Bush Tyres Presentation for Lincolnshire Young Farmers Clubs

On Thursday 11th April Bush Tyres Horncastle held a Tyre Safety Presentation for Lincolnshire Young Farmers Clubs.

The evening event, held at our Horncastle centre, had a very good turnout with over thirty Lincolnshire Young Farmers Club members attending.

The presentation started with Company Director Tom Bush welcoming everyone who attended and he went on to give a brief history of Bush Tyres.

Everyone who attended were given a booklet to keep which contained everything taught on the night plus some extra tips.

Topics covered included:
Understanding tyre lables, markings & ratings
How to check your tyre pressures, tread depths & tyre condition
UK Tyre Law

There were demonstrations showing how to change a spare wheel, how to check tyre pressures and condition, how to check a vehicles fluid levels and how to check the condition of a cars wiper blades.

Towards the end of the evening everyone had the opportunity to get 'hands on' (under our teams supervision) to fit a spare wheel on a car with the two quickest participants receiving some free goodies from Avon, Bridgestone, Michelin, Hankook, Toyo & Goodride tyres.

All in all it was a very good night for all who attended & helped with this event.

Lincolnshire Young Farmers Clubs County Chairperson, Holly Howell, said "Everyone who attended very much enjoyed themselves and learnt a lot of vital information ......", she added, "....the younger members found it enjoyable.........their parents contacted me to say thank you too".
