Nathan Chadwick, Modern Classics magazine Assistant Editor, visited our Spalding centre to have the suspension adjusted on his Alfa Romeo 147 GTA ‘Our Drives’ project car.
On arrival, it was noted that the Alfa was sitting far to low to the ground.
Our trained technician recomended the Eibach Pro-Street suspension kit, fitted to the car, should be adjusted to raise the car by approximately 10mm. This adjustment stopped anymore damage being done to the undertray & improved the ride quality for the passengers.
Nathan commented, "…even moving the car around Bush Tyres’ yard meant a blissful lack of scraping".
As an added bonus, in their December issue, you will see what tyres were fitted by our technicians at Spalding to replace the worn Pirelli P-Zero Nero GT’s.
The fitting team at Boston hosted a very long-standing customer, this Aston Martin DB9 returning for a set of new, fully coded, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Sensors.
Toyo's Proxes slick tyres have been designed and built using advanced technologies to incorporate sustainable raw materials within the tyres overall make up. These sustainable tyres which were fitted to team Toyo Tires', Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo's for the first four round of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in the SP10 class.
This Peugeot 205 automatic visited our Boston Branch recently for Wheel Balancing. These centre-less “Pepperpot” style wheels can only be balanced on a balancing machine using a plate adapter. The adapter is needed as the wheels are unusual as they have no hole in the centre.
