Toyo Tires Gold Sponsor The Baja Greece

The first full stage of the FIA Baja Greece will start today, Friday 24th May.  As Gold Sponsors, Toyo Tires, together with Greek distributor Tenora Techniki, will be following the action and sharing some of the best images from the rally.

In addition to sponsoring the Rally, Toyo Tires will be there with their test driver Akira Miura, to assist in the development of their off road tires. He will be using a test version of the Open Country M/T R, Miura will provide valuable feedback on the tires which will supplement the data recordings and measurements being taken, as he tries to win the Baja.

Miura driving an Overdrive prepared Toyota Hilux will be competing in the top class, T1+, aiming to win the race as well as helping the Research & Development team optimise the performance of the tire. Information gained about the tires ultimate performance in the Baja’s extreme conditions will be used to inform and shape the development of products for sale to end consumers.

The Open Country range, Toyo Tires 4×4 and off-road brand, comprises of a range of tires, adapted to differing conditions worldwide as well as different regulations. In Europe for instance, the Open Country ATIII, an all-season tire, offers extended mobility so drivers can venture off-road, without compromising on the tires ability to provide a stable, comfortable ride when back on the tarmac, even in winter.
