“Is that a supra……” Yes it is! The 2022 Toyota Supra still continues to divide opinion amongst the ‘die hard’ traditionalists who claim the new model is nothing more than a BMW in a supra ‘disguise’. The new generation of owners fully embrace the manufacturing genius of combining BMW running gear and infotainment expertise with the cutting-edge design heroes of Toyota in Japan.

The result, probably creating the “best of both worlds.” Owners who have taken the plunge and purchased the new generation cars are not left disappointed. The car looks and feels amazing with BMW “M-car” levels of grip and performance. Combined with the more exclusive and luxury feeling Toyota interior and styling.

Custom BC Racing forged alloys & Hankook Ventus S1 Evo3 Tyres

Some of you will notice that not only has Gavin upgraded the wheels, but he has also added an Artisan Spirits Step 2 body kit in Carbon fibre. This time, the stunning BC Racing forged alloys have been installed in 20×9.5J front and 20x11J rear.

The team at Beverley fitted the new wheels with the Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 tyres in 265/30ZR20 front, and wider 295/30ZR20 rear tyres. These are a great option for ultimate performance and gip.

The evo3 replaced the outgoing evo2 and offers a very safe and sporting drive with good levels of comfort in both wet and dry conditions. The Ventus family of tyres began production in 1994 and the new focus has been on not only performance but also environmental protection and conservation of resources.

In over 39 reviews on tyrereviews.com the Ventus evo3 averages 77% overall on a total of 228k miles driven.
