Abbey Tyre (Cambridge) joins the Bush Group of companies

B.A.Bush & Son Limited are pleased to announce the acquisition of Abbey Tyre (Cambridge).

This represents the 3rd newsite for 2018; in addition to the new sites at Norwich and Knaresborough[completed in April].

ZR Tyres LincolnMoreover – Bush Tyres are pleased to announce theacquisition of the 50% remaining shares of ZR tyres (Lincoln) from the Tanvicgroup; meaning the site will be 100% Bush Tyres owned…effectively the 4thnew site for 2018.

It is important to note that Abbey Tyres will continue torun as a separate trading company, within the Bush group.

Bush Tyres - Gregg Foster Abbey Tyres Manager

Gregg Foster (pic right), who has been with the company for many years will take the rolein managing the company; whilst Stuart Woolley (previous owner) will remainwith the company for 6 months to help in the transition of the business.

The company currently caters for a large volume of theCambridge retail car trade, as well as running 7 service vans to cater for itsextensive commercial and agricultural customer base.

Cambridge represents one of the fastest growing and invested parts of the country,informally gaining the name “Silicon Fen”, and forms part of the strategic Bushnetwork expansion plan for the next 3 years. There is currently plans forBABush, in 2019, to expand further – with strategic sites and tyre companieslined up.
